Many great men and women throughout Christian history have been compelled by the love of Christ. Early church movements are full of stories of those who have give up everything to follow God. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:14, “For the love of Christ compels us.” How does the love of Christ compel you? What would it look like if we took the love of Christ seriously and sought to demonstrate it daily, to those around us? How can the bible speak of God being angry, yet loving? Jesus said that love for him would be the compelling force to care for others. He will form his love within you, if you will allow him to form you.

In this teaching, Joshua Hoffert talks about how the love of Christ forms and shapes our life. From the practical, experiential, and theological, he weaves personal stories, as well as stories of great men and women throughout Christian history that were radically impacted by the love of God.
